The individually decorated rooms at Continental Hotel include a cable TV, minibar and an in-room safe. Bathrooms include amenities and a separate shower and bath. We booked this expecting it to be a nice hotel, but only when we met up with a friend who's an Oslo local did we find out that it is considered the best hotel in the city. It's easy to understand why. Luxury without pretention, excellent service, the best beds we had on our entire trip through Norway. It was a hotel we actually looked forward to co9ming "home" to each day. The breakfast really was exceptional. It was simply on point and current in every single respect, which is not typical of "institution" type hotels that often rely on their reputation. To top it off, the location was perfect. Flawless.
