I now feel more confident about considering them for future stays. Kudos to the hotel for their efforts in making things right. Amazing place, great staff, great service. Breakfast is not super unusual, you can make a waffle, and there is a good selection of salads, cheese and meat. Small but very cozy swimming pool, and a fancy outdoors sauna that is a nice addition for a snowy weather. Restaurant itself is not very fancy but there are nice events there sometimes like live music. Spa is of a good quality, had no issues there. Staff is always welcoming and happy to help. Almost everyone knows English so we were able to communicate quite well.
