This 5-star hotel is situated in a historic palace.
Bamboo Garden Spa provides a range of luxury treatments and beauty therapies, and there is a library filled with thousands of ancient books. Quinta das Lágrimas has a golf driving range and a 9-hole course.
Although we didn't make a reservation, they arranged for us to have dinner on the day, and we were able to enjoy a very stylish and delicious meal.

The area is popular for cycling, and bike hire is available at this 5-star hotel. Everything about the hotel was 5 stars and exceptional. The room and the bed were so comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. The spa was fabulous too. We will definitely visit again!

The hotel was impressively clean, and the comfortable and quiet atmosphere made for a relaxing stay. The pool was a great feature. The breakfast was also a standout, with plenty of options and high-quality food.
The staff members were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. One of the most notable aspects of the hotel was its prime location close to the beach.

Fantastic staff, clean modern comfy rooms, with a kettle ( this isn’t always found in Portuguese hotels) Nice breakfast available, pool, spa etc and very reasonable pricing. Absolutely recommend this Hotel..we have extended our stay here purely on the above criteria and how welcoming staff are. Thank you staff …deserves 5 stars

The staff alone is five stars: knowledgeable about the city, accommodating (I got my room in the morning when i got to the hotel), polite and cheerful. Really appreciate their help at learning basic phrases in Portuguese.

The breakfast was delicious, fresh, plentiful and had a wide variety of offerings. The location was ideal - a short distance from the centre of Coimbra yet in the country with a beautiful courtyard and orange grove and garden plots, chickens and a bamboo forest if you take a walk down the back of the property. Luis, the owner, was informative, gracious, accommodating and helpful. Five stars! Ten stars!

After a long journey ,the welcoming small Glass of port with à gentile friendly smile was very pleasant. Check in was easy. Friendly atmosphere I followed the recommendation of the very professional waitress (very bright young lady with very good English ) Food excellent I stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels around the world and paid a lot more.
