InterContinental Kaohsiung's room offers 5-star accommodation with bath tub and luxury Byredo amenities. Great location, attentive and helpful staff, spacious room with great views, spotless clean. High quality amenities were provided. We arrived with a rental car, parking was easy and secure in hotel's own garage. Convenience stores, restaurants and fully-fledged shopping malls within short walking distance. Hotel's own bakery looked delicious, wanted to try, but we ran out of time. In sum, everything was great, highly recommend and would definitely want to come again.

Great rooms, close to metro and light rail, very friendly staff, the rooftop terrace was amazing in the night. 7-Eleven and Family Mart in front of the hotel made it easy to charge the Easy card or get some light breakfast if you want to skip the full hotel meal.

The action of rejected customers asking for help with unprofessional English while just playing with her mobile phone was unacceptable (April 4, 2025, during the 3pm to 5pm session). Furthermore, as I asked about massage service in 1F front desk, the staff told me there is no massage service in the hotel, so I need to walk into the SPA Center in 12F and booked by myself. Marriott is a world-class hotel, so the staff need better training in communications with foreign customers, not just with the ones who can speak Chinese.
