After trying several hotels in Rio de Janeiro, we can confidently say that Hotel Matiz has become our favorite. What truly made our experience special was the people who work there. From the restaurant staff to housekeeping and reception, everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. Every detail is thoughtfully taken care of to ensure an exceptional stay. We loved using the free bicycles to explore the city, the well-equipped gym, and of course, the delicious and varied breakfast. The location is simply perfect, making it easy to visit the main attractions. We highly recommend Hotel Matiz and look forward to returning soon. Thank you for making our stay in Rio unforgettable!

The apartment has a classic deco which was nice. It very spacious and mine include a double sofa bed. Kitchen was complete. There is a coffee maker. Toilet has a huge mirror and good shower water pressure. The bed was comfortable. The was a balcony with a good view of the city. There is a pool downstairs. Very close to the metro station. Very central with restaurants and shops nearby. The receptionists were friendly. Overall, a very pleasant stay with no major complaint.
