Perfect calm location, superb pool, very good restaurant on site! Staff was amazing and showed us also the wildlife around! We saw scarlet macaws, three kinds of monkeys and tucans all at the property!

It was like something out of the movies! The location was beautiful with breathtaking views. The room was very clean and also had incredible views. It was the perfect getaway for our honeymoon. It was also great that it was so close to quepos as we were able to do some offshore fishing. The wildlife in the mornings was fun to watch. The staff were all very friendly. Would highly recommend this location and can't wait to go back!

Beautiful hotel amidst the trees, in which we stayed at a private bungalow. Our room was very large, with a nice terrace overlooking the pool and the surrounding trees and stream. Well functioning air conditioning, large bed, great shower and very relaxed atmosphere. Had to adjust to the quite high temperature of the water in the pool, but lovely swimming pool area from which every evening you can check out lots of monkeys climbing the trees around the area. Location was ok, on the way to Manuel Antonio National Park, and driving distance to the town of Quepos. Some restaurants and shops nearby, and also nice bar/restaurant and little casino area adjacent to the hotel.

The La Vela Boutique Hotel it is located just 300 meters from the Manuel Antonio National Park.

Very good hotel. If you expect a little luxury this is the place to stay. Our suite was in zone D with an amazing view of the ocean. Very well equipped and clean. The property is very large and there is something for everyone. Lots of different restaurants. Interesting idea of apartments decorated in old airplanes. Very good swimming pools. Beach within walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful.
