My husband and I had a really nice and relaxing week at the resort. It was actually our wedding anniversary :) The water temperature in the thermal pools was perfect, making our stay even more enjoyable. So as the dinner and breakfast buffet were generous with a great variety of options.

The staff was always super helpful, the whole hotel is very clean and well equipped. The spa area is very nice, especially the saunas. The breakfast had a wide vareity of foods and drinks with plenty of diet friendly foods to choose from as well.

This is a superb establishment that I cannot recommend highly enough. The staff were warm and friendly and made every effort to help us with our very grumpy children, without making us feel like a burden. The food was very good; the breakfast in particular was amazing. Superb shower in a comfortable room with a selection of pillows that avoids the soft vs hard conflict we all endure. The kids loved the garden and though we did not use the pool or sauna they were immaculate and available. Surrounding area was tranquil and pleasant for walks. Wish we could have stayed longer. This is the sort of 5 star service without the 5 star pretentious nonsense I love.

This historical hotel enjoys an idyllic setting in Alt Madlitz amid a peaceful forest, directly on Madlitz Lake.
