We booked this place last minute... It was a very pleasant surprise ! We came to the Lake District to explore hiking and cycling trails. The hotel is located next to the lake and every morning we enjoyed the serenity of the view. Very nice breakfast, especially muffins. Room is spacious and cleverly designed with plenty of storage space. Hotel has its own parking which was a big plus for us. We are definitely coming back!

The room was lovely and the beds really comfortable. Staff were exceptional. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Being in the centre of Grasmere I considered myself very lucky to have a parking space.

Everything about the hotel was excellent,including the lovely gardens and the car park. The quality of our breakfasts was superb,especially the Cumbrian speciality. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is also excellent,in a quiet peaceful spot on the edge of Grasmere village.
