Very atmospheric place to stay, with lovely, cosy interior! The cottage has old (in a good way!) and traditional feel to it, with all of the modern comforts you might need. We stayed there in October, with the outside temperatures on the lower side, and inside was so lovely and warm! Additionally, working log burner added extra warmth and cosiness in the living area. Kim, whom I’ve liaised with regarding the cottage, was very nice and helpful throughout. The location was also fantastic, only short drive to Edinburgh and beautiful Pentland Hills reserve. I’d definitely visit again!

Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Overall experience was very nice. Breakfast was good and filling. View from the restaurant was very nice. Good location, directly opposite the lake and next to some arcade game centre.

The lodge was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The rooms were very comfortable and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The location was lovely and tranquil but an easy commute to other locations also.
