Great room ... well appointed ...nice views...great breakfast and dinners and pub!! Managers Craig and Claire were so friendly and helpful in so many ways. Nearby Golf is also fun! Kudos to all the staff especially the Kitchen staff! Well Done!

Great place for a family vacation, indoor pool area and gardens was fantastic for the little one. Breakfast was great. Location is the best part, close to the airport (but not close enough to hear anything), close to the city and just far enough to enjoy nice country side and easy to escape to further away attractions.

Gate Lodge, a property with a garden, is situated in West Calder, 29 km from Forth Bridge, 30 km from Murrayfield Stadium, as well as 30 km from Edinburgh Zoo.

The lodge was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The rooms were very comfortable and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The location was lovely and tranquil but an easy commute to other locations also.

it’s a lovely family hotel, a lot of coffee and bar option next to it, and also the Canny man is really good. The city center is near, 10 mins with the buses. amazing for a few day stay.

Lovely fresh room, clean, and quiet for Central Edinburgh....although this could have been due to the Germany (football) result :-) The reception staff were totally fabulous and could not have been more friendly/helpful.
