Beautiful setting and building Friendly welcoming staff I received a free upgrade which meant I got to stay in the main house. I saw a cosy lounge area for afternoon tea. Beautiful grand staircase. Festive decorations made it really warm and cosy. Attended a party in the stable area. Perfect for a sit down meal for around 60 people. Food was fantastic and hot. Service was excellent Late checkout is 11am which leaves time to enjoy the breakfast from a menu. Not by buffet style. Highly recommend.

    1 night stay on our way home from our European road trip. Great location from the Channel tunnel just 30 mins drive. Its in a a pretty, sleepy little villsge. Lovely old quirky pub, rooms were tastefully renovated and very comfortable, breakfast was all freshly made with a good choice. This was a perfect choice after a long drive home through France.
