It was one of the most wonderful places of our trip. The location is wonderful, the village is very nice and lovely. We had a great walk and dinner. The host was super nice, gave advice for the walk and dinner. The room was small but very very nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. With kettle, tea, coffee. We rested for a while in the guest lounge with a beautiful view of the sunset. Everything was perfect. And the breakfast topped it off, we had a wonderful freshly made, delicious Scottish breakfast like never before. It's a perfect romantic place for couples. I wish we could come back again.

    Received a complimentary upgrade on arrival to one of the newly renovated rooms and our room was modern, clean and spacious. Though we thought the toiletries, tea/coffee, etc in the room felt a little budget for the style of hotel. However, the bed was very comfy and we enjoyed a good buffet breakfast the following morning with lots of choice. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner and it is in a good location for getting into Cairngorms.

    Location is excellent. Room was beautiful, spacious & clean with a modern en-suite - topped off with a wonderful view. Breakfast was superb, quality local produce with great choice. Best part of the whole experience was the hosting, made the stay that bit more special. Keep up the good work!
