Very comfortable. Well equipped. The host left us a very generous welcome pack. There was even a pouch of bits and bobs ‘just in case’ in the bathroom cabinet. The house was very warm. We had to keep turning the heating off. Not bad for December. A big plus was being on the edge of time. A mere 7 minute walk to the other end of the High Street.

Firstly - the big plus is the car space right next to the building. Thereafter, the benefit is the space, light and value for money of the property. We often visit this area but our first stay at the lodge. Lee and his team made us feel welcome the food was great the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly the room was comfy and clean, although we only booked for B&B after breakfast we went to Hastings for the day but went out of our way to go back for the Sunday Carvery and so glad we did we will definitely return.
