Modern hotel near to Portlaoise city center, with huge covered parking space and large rooms. Everything was clean, the room was warm and they also gave us complimentary water, tea and a couple of biscuits.

Good location. Lovely grounds lit up for Christmas, comfortable hotel furnishings of a timeless character and tastey breakfast. Staff were friendly and considerate as we had to cut our stay short due to a bereavement and was not a problem for the staff who facilitated a refund. They were also considerate and kind under the circumstances.

Set in Athy and only 6.4 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum, Moate Lodge offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.
