JapanThe staff were extremely kind and helpful. We had some delay in reaching the accommodations, but they allowed us to have our dinner right as we entered, before checking in. They also helped us to call a taxi to the train station on our last day. My mother left an item behind, and they kindly mailed it over to my address in Tokyo after we left!
Compliments to the chef, the food every breakfast and dinner were so delicious, and my family and I got to try many local delicacies in the comfort of the hotel :) My parents also enjoyed their very first experience of onsen here!

The location is right at Biwako, the view from the room is gorgeous, the cruise next to the hotel, the train station about 10 minutes away, the castle and park close by... The staff is so polite, efficient and friendly. I can't think of anything negative (and I am trying)...
