I love how thoughtful the place is for families esp. preschooling children or younger. They had kids in mind in every aspect of the place. From rooms, to onsen, the pool and even a kids buffet spread.

Everything is likeable with this resort you will get a wonderful experience and what you paid for! The onsen is brilliant especially the open-air onsen looking at the sky and nature as you feel like you are a part of the atmosphere. Many different onsens to try so it will be an onsen-hopping moment. The food is delicious as I had the buffet for breakfast and dinner, they have many dishes to choose from, also the dessert area soft-served ice cream was a bonus! The room is very nice and clean, I had the private onsen room and it was brilliant! The beds are comfortable, I have even tried the futons and it is a comfy experience indeed. The tatami mats in the room make it very special and it's very present chill down in the tatami room. Overall I love this place and it was an eye-opening experience.

Onsen a bit small but water quality is great. The location of this hotel is good , within walking distance from the bus station and to the Hell Valley. During winter time, this makes it easier for us to move around.

Onsen was excellent - extremely large with a good variety of baths to choose from. It was very busy when we were there but despite this there was still plenty of room and it did not feel crowded. The kaiseki dinner was also very good. We stayed for two nights and had two very different menus, with a lot of high quality and varied food. Staff were very helpful with everything we needed. Location is excellent.
