Wonderful room with amazing private Onsen. The Kaiseki dinner was beautifully prepared and a unique experience. The Ryokan team always made sure to accommodate our wishes. We really enjoyed our stay even though our Japanese was very basic.

Great staff service, room was big and have a drying heating rack for clothes, sofa to lounge in. Our room was facing the mountain with 2 hammocks to laze in and enjoy the great view snowing. Hotel shuttle bus reservation required to pick us up from Sakunami train station. Also, many Onsen baths within the hotel premises, both outdoors and indoors. Luxurious dinner and breakfast buffet inclusive with very fresh unlimited Sendai A5 Wagyu beef, beef tongue, sashimi, stewed beef, etc., etc., desserts, alcohol, wines, sakes, hot chocolate, lots of hot and cold drinks. We had an excellent stay, food and presentations were exquisite. We admired the thought that went into presenting food in dishes that are compatible with the “mood” of the food. Only 5 minutes walk to the lift. Staff were professional, rooms were comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Staying here was more than perfect. The room was so nice and the baths were amazing. I could even book a private Onsen. The staff was so nice, helpful and accommodating, they helped me with everything. Since I am vegetarian they even went all the way to make me vegetarian meals which were so so good! I would definitely stay here again, I enjoyed it very much.
