In one word, the Lagoon Gate can be described as a haven, or should I say heaven? It is such a serene place to stay. The place is brand new with modern furnishings. It's clean, the staff are attentive to your every needs. There's kayaks you can use to go explore the lagoon. The pool is wonderful. And the food is sublime, homemade. I'm running out of adjectives. We had the family room for us and our two children and it was huge. The rooms all have incredible views

Amazing place. The room is big and really clean. Also beautiful outdoor space. Breakfast and dinner were very delicious, one of the best currys we had. Located in a nice and peaceful location closed to an amazing beach. There you can see turtles at night. The host is such a nice lady, had a great time here. Would recommend to stay here instead of in Tangalle center. Easy to get to the resort by bus and a short TukTuk drive.

Nice villa, great service, friendly and outstanding staff and good breakfast also tailored a little but listening to customer’s preferences, it also has access to a beautifull beach, nice pool and bar, they don’t have alcohol like gin, but they serve beer. The place is really nice, the room clean but the best part is the staff: kind and smiling they all make you feel welcome and at home. They know how to do this job. Surely would like to go again and reccomand it to everyone

The absolutely best part for the stay was one of the staff members and our favourite waiter Mr. Ravi. He was very polite, had a nice calm voice, very attentive, always happy to help and very professional.. words can not describe the high level and high quality of service Mr. Ravi provided us. He truly is an asset to the hotel. Mr. Ravi thank you for everything! on the other note about the hotel itself, very nice very clean, staff is very professional and nice, the rooms are exactly like in the pictures... the views are exceptional. Would 100% recommend. We stayed so far in a lot of hotels, but this one is in the top 2 😊 You have a lot of meal variations available! you can also book different trips through the hotel which is awesome!

    Loved our stay here. The location is beautiful and the isolation pushes you to relax and wind down, which is exactly what we needed after a lot of travelling around. Staff are great and very helpful and food is exceptional - it baffled us how they could get such quality food made so quickly to order in such a remote place.

    The location is stunning, as are the rooms, which are stylish and comfortable. The almost deserted beach is beautiful and further imbues a sense of calm. To top it off the restaurant is superb and the staff are friendly and efficient. It’s also really good value.

    Loved everything. The property was great, really quiet and chilled, good soundproofing didn’t hear anyone else from the rooms. Big bed and nice balcony to chill on. Bathroom was great with powerful shower. Pool was very welcome as it’s so hot and humid and sea too rough to swim in. Comfy sun-loungers. On the beach location, beach was m stunning. Staff all very friendly. Excellent food we did half board for ease. Massage was very good quality and relaxing
