The breakfast was very good with a lot of options. The pool area is nice and there is a bridge that crosses the road to the beach which is convenient. It was my birthday the day I arrived and the hotel staff had a birthday card and balloons on my bed which was a lovely surprise.

They have really friendly staffs who greet us every time they see us and the information about car park was given clearly. There was technical issues with the gate to carpark, but it was well explained to us and solved immediately. We also needed first aid kit, and they were very helpful too. Besides that, the room, the bed and the bathroom are very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and could relax.

All the staff were outstanding, the receptionists were so friendly and kind and helpful with any requests, the dinner room maitre-d was wonderful and excellent at his job, the house keeping team were perfect every day, and always smiling, location on the beach is wonderful, the room and view are as described, yes we'd book again

It's very accessible, and getting Grab from the hotel was easy. There's a McDonald's and other food places nearby. There's also a cafe behind the hotel! The room is exactly as shown in the picture. Recommended!! 10/10.

    This is a great resort. We had a really relaxing stay. It's rated 4 stars, but we give it 5 We had a mix-up with the booking (no fault of the resort at all), and they made great efforts to rectify the issue. Nerthya and her manager at checkin gave us an upgrade and shouted a bottle of wine & a birthday cake for my wife's. birthday. Thank you to Golden Sands for your hospitality.

    Well kept grounds, beach front location and a good location at that. They let us check in early which was very helpful we were very grateful for that. Breakfast was very busy but selection and quality was good. The beds were very comfortable. Would return, but would consider paying the extra and staying at the Shangri-la right next door which is the 5* version of this 4* one.

    Nice hotel, very nice staff. The breakfast was good, but very lot of people. Ther was too many children. Pool was good, but not perfect. 4 stars, but not 5 (yet)

    Can't get better than the location, with ESCAPE Penang nearby and a very nice beach bar next door. The view from our Deluxe Double room was stunning, although they tried to put us on the cheap side first! The room itself was nice and big, with a large bed and both a shower and bathtub. The extra furniture like the chaise lounge and side table was also appreciated.
