Located in Puerto Natales' city centre, Vinnhaus is a fully-renovated historical house providing hostel accommodation in a vintage atmosphere. Free Wi-Fi access is available on site. I liked everything about this hotel. It has great decor and just oozes comfort. For me it was a perfect place to relax after a long day hiking, touring. The staff were also super helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was really great, more than I could eat. The location was really good but helpful to have a car to get into the centre of town. Our hosts Helio and Luz were very friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was a beautiful boutique hotel with fabulous views. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Located in Punta Arenas, one of the most southernly points in Chile, Hotel Diego de Almagro offers accommodations on the coast of the Magellan Strait. Great price and location. The most family friendly place we stayed at during our Chile trip - right down to the heated pool - WITH KID TOYS (pool floaties, noodles!). Best continental breakfast. Great WIFI. Able to have an hour long phone call sorting out flight issues. Staff are fluent in English and very helpful. Very helpful to have restaurant on site with accommodating hours.

Not 5 star (regarding rooms) but tries to be, which is okay because you are there for a hiking/outdoor experience, not a glamourous pampering. Small mistakes here and there, but staff always worked to resolve in my favor. Purchased horseback riding (twice) - great time, but horses so well trained; if been on horse once before, then consider yourself an expert. Dinners were extremely good. All staff every accommodating. In 3 days, no problems unresolved. Only negative would be King beds are really 2 double beds pushed together. Stayed 1 night at Hotel Lago Gray (for convenience to Cat) and this place much better.
