Located along the historic Qintai Path, Chengdu Wenjun Mansion Hotel (Kuanzhai Xiangzi Branch) is decorated in a traditional Chinese style, a 5-minute walk from Tonghuimen Subway Station (Line 2). The hotel is beautiful and intimate! I loved the decor, the inner courtyard, the little details everywhere. The location is perfect for a tourist looking to be in downtown Chengdu on a pretty, traditional-style street. I went to Kuanzhai Alley in 10 minutes, People’s Park in 20 minutes, Tianfu Square in 25 minutes, the beautiful Wenhua Park is 2 minutes away. The Tonghuimen subway station is also 5 minutes away, conveniently located on Line 2 along all the main attractions (People’s Park, Chunxi Road). The environment is very safe and clean. As a woman travelling alone, I was never afraid to go out. My room was big and the A/C worked very well, a much needed necessity when it’s 35 degrees outside! Even though I came to the hotel in the morning, the staff gave me my room early. The staff was very helpful, and helped me book tickets for the Sichuan opera or to call a cab through the Didi app. I ate at the restaurant and the food was great. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection. Thank you Joey, Belle, Juliya, Pench, Frank, and the kitchen staff! I would come back anytime!

Room had two queen size beds which was perfect for a family of four. In addition, the customer service was excellent and offered us late checkout from the normal 2pm (!!) to 3pm.

成都市の中心部にあるGongxili - Xige Hotel ---8mins walk from Tonghuimen metro station, near Tianfu square, close by culture park and Sichuan opera house, English speaking service,speaking service, local... Lovely hotel on a superb street and next to a lovely park. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Rooms lovely, clean and spacious. Excellent location near the metro for exploring the City, short ride to the Panda Park and for getting to the main train staions for the high speed trains. 10 minute walk to Khan and Zhai Alley and close to Junli Ancient street - both fun areas to explore. Breakfast was delicous - the best we had during our stay and the coffee fresh. I thorougly recommend this hotel and would return.

The rooms were very large - I especially enjoyed the shower section. I stayed with my partner and found the room very convenient but it could be more challenging for people uncomfortable sharing a washroom as the shower and sink area are not segregated. The hotel also provided cute panda keychains during our stay! We had delivery to the hotel and pick-up was convenient downstairs. There is also a small shop that sold buns and drinks next door. The room was very clean and the AC/Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We mostly took DiDi to get around and location was convenient for pick-up and drop-off.

This well preserved BuddhaZen hotel is located in a traditional courtyard style building, situated in the Wenshu Square tourist attraction within the First Ring Road, adjacent to Tianfu Square,... 空港で両替所が見つからず、中国ではあまりクレジットカードも使えないのを知らずに空港からタクシーに乗ってしまったのですが、ホテルの女性が運転手さんに立て替えてくれて、仕事が終わる時間に、わざわざATMに連れて行って行ってくれました！　その後、文殊院の回りを案内してくれて、お勧めの食事も教えてくれました。初めての中国で、初っ端から素敵な体験ができて、本当に良かったです。 早朝出発だったので、朝ごはんを食べられなかったのは残念ですが、次回はもうすこし長い滞在をしたいです。 I didn't have much cash when I came to this hotel by taxi, and he didn't accept credit card, so I was in trouble. But this kind staff paid the taxi driver for me, and later she took me ATM and even showed me beautiful places around the hotel. She took me the nice restaurant, too. It was my first trip to China, I had a brilliant experience. The greatest hospitality ever! I had to leave very early so I could not stay long enough, but I would love to stay longer next time!

The area has lots of shops, and the bike took us to downtown in 15 minutes. Best stay in this city!
