The food at the restaurant was so delicious, and the complimentary breakfast was exceptional. The jacuzzis were beautifully relaxing, and pool was sparkling clean. The distance from town is several km and a steep walk up hill on your way back, so we hired a scooter to get around, which was good. The bed was comfortable. Amazing open air shower, and a lovely deck off of the room which looked out into the rainforest and gardens.

Customer service was exceptional and arrival felt very special. Literally you are in the middle of the rainforest. The hot springs were amazing and our son kept asking why we werent staying longer. The lodge was very beautiful indeed and felt very sheltered from others gaze. The amenities in our lodge and elsewhere were fabulous. Amazing food! Relaxed and atmospheric. We did a walk of the expansive grounds which are also very impressive.

The room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable, I loved that the hotel is at a walking distance from La Fortuna waterfalls and a five minutes drive from the downtown where you can have access to restaurants, cafes and the hot springs. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, Esteban was very helpful and shared with me some beautiful location that I can visit. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be staying at Chato Arenal on my next visit to Costa Rica.
