Stopped here with a friend as we tour on motorbike. Host had no English but translated using her phone which was appreciated. Allowed us park our bikes out back with cover. Place was immaculate and the owner cooked us an amazing breakfast. Genuine host and place was charming and nice to get away from busier places for a night.

Set in a beautiful Art Nouveau mansion in central Astorga, this hotel is just 100 metres from Antoni Gaudí’s Episcopal Palace. I rested so well before I continue my Camino . I will remember room 308 😊😊. The staff at the reception was so helpful , not only she get me a reliable cab , she also wished me and my sister well plus a great great surprised chocolates handed to me at my room because it was my birthday . Her name is Eleanor ( if I understood her correctly) , a pretty lady with long pleated hair . She is the one that made me felt at home 😊😊
