At the guest house, the units have a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge and kettle. The units are equipped with heating facilities. very nice owner and staff. Breakfast was individual and of very good quality.

There are 10 bedrooms with superior en suite bathrooms, and Wheatsheaf has achieved an overall rating of 84% from VisitScotland for outstanding standards in food, service and ambience. The Hotel was very comfortable, and the room was huge. The lady running the bar the night we stayed was a credit to the business. Helpful, great laughs and great advice for the continuation of our trip. The chef came out for chat also it was just a very welcoming and enjoyable place to stay for our first night in Scotland.

Despite its peaceful rural location, Cringletie House is only about 30 minutes drive from Edinburgh and Edinburgh Airport. The convenient, yet secluded location makes the small country-house hotel ideal for a relaxing or romantic break. Very good breakfast. Location convenient close to Peebles. Also quite good views from house. Lovely walled garden to walk around.
