It's convenient for me visiting family in the location. With it being rural it was nice and quiet with stunning views and walks

Kath made us feel very welcome. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Breakfasts were excellent too.

It was such a lovely house, so spacious, even bigger than it looks in the photos. It had a games room in it which was a nice surprise. The view we got was beautiful, overlooking the green and lakes. The welcome basket was a lovely touch too, staff were so friendly and welcoming. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would love to come back in the summer for a few days. Highly recommend for families and larger groups.

Lovely house in a truly beautiful location. We had a nice stay here whilst visiting family and we would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit this area, with or without kids. There wasn’t a travel cot provided which had been agreed on at the booking stage but we had actually ended up bringing our own anyways so it wasn’t an issue we needed to raise however I do feel confident that it would have been rectified straight away if needed as the people managing this property are brilliant. The only suggestion for improvement I can think of would be for there to be an option to add a child safety gate for the stairs, there are ones that don’t require drilling and I just feel this would really benefit families with young children like ourselves as it was a bit stressful trying to keep the very active 1 year old away from the stairs the whole time we were there. Thank you for providing us with such a lovely wee holiday, our older boy really misses the horses since coming home but it’s being helped by all the photos he took of them, I think he will treasure them for a while!
