I really loved that Anna met us at the dock when the private boat transfer arrived and welcomed us. That set the tone For our anniversary stay. I also love the fact that our beach chairs were already reserved and waiting us. The staff was exceptionally accommodating for everything that we asked for. I loved our room with private porch with sea view. I honestly can say that this was a great experience .I wish we had stayed longer. Anna thank you so much for your hospitality, I really appreciate you accommodating us. The young man at the beach was also very polite and helpful. Everyone was just so pleasant and helpful. Yes, and the sunset at dinner time is fantastic!

The hotel is located in a beautiful and quite location, only 5 minutes’ walk from the harbour and the cosmopolitan life of Hydra. Our reception staff will be happy to offer information on local attractions and things to do. Property can arrange hiking tours with certified hiking guides at the surrounding area. The rooms and building were beautiful -high celings, styled in an antique way. Amazing Service- The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was really good- coffee, juice, toast with spreads, mix of fruit, greek yogurt, honey and a choice of eggs cooked your way. The beds were comfortable Great location as 5 or 7 minutes walk from Port. Minimal stairs compared to the rest of the island . Slight incline up from Port, but only a feew stairs up at the hotel. This was good as I have a bad Knee

The hosts were very welcoming, attending to all our needs. The appartment was comfortable, very clean and the AC sure helped a lot since it was very hot. Highly recommend it!

Boasting magnificent views overlooking Hydra, the recently renovated Hotel Hydra is a turn-of-the-century building set in the heart of the island of Hydra. The nearest swimming area is a 5-minute walk away. The views, room amenities, staff helpfulness are all pluses to the Hotel Hydra. When I chose the hotel, I knew it was up a long path with many stairs. However, the views at the hotel and the surrounding sights made the walk worth it. The signage is good so it is difficult to get lost. The area around the hotel has an historic mansion and the family home of a famous artist. Both were excellent and interesting visits.
