We loved the house and the really nice garden around it. The neighbourhood is tranquil and even though the place is situated in the outskirts of Kali the village is tiny, which means that we had no issues with distance. Our apartment was pretty large, really clean and very comfortable.

Offering a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the sea, Vile Dalmacija is located in Preko in the Ugljan Island Region. A sandy beach is 50 metres from the property, while Zadar is 5 km away. Beautiful resort, amazing staff, attentive and friendly. Special shout out to Ana and Rosi in reception and Dani and Dominik in restaurant who took great care of us. Apt was comfortable, view from balcony was awesome.

We stayed at this hotel very last minute and it had only been open around 6 weeks so we weren't sure what to expect. The hotel is still not quite finished but that didn't have much of an impact on our experience, there's just some small snagging issues that I'm sure will be resolved soon. The hotel is however fabulous. In a great spot on beautiful Ugljan just a short walk from lovely restaurants, the sea and a couple of local shops. The decor is beautiful, rooms are very comfortable and the view from the balcony is lovely. There is a small pool/deck area being created on a terrace off the gym which will be fabulous when complete. The real crowning glory of the hotel however are the staff and the food! The staff are all so friendly and helpful, had excellent recommendations and answered all my questions and gave suggestions of where to go and what to see. The restaurant is also absolutely excellent. The food was probably the best we had during our stay and priced so well so we ended up eating there numerous times. Again, the restaurant staff were brilliant, exactly the kind of people you would want working for you and really made you feel at home.

We were greeted by the host and provided with all possible information about the property, the local facilities and sights around the island to maximise our experience. The property offers an amazing view of Lukoran bay, whilst sitting on a stone patio with swimming pool if the sea view is all you’d want! The local facilities offer a good range of essentials and then a few miles down the road is a bigger market with fresh cooked produce for an easy option. The sights around the island are incredible, from the multiple islands visible from the top of the islands to mosaic benches dotted around the island with great opportunities for sunset walks. Back to the apartment and host - two words sum up our experience - the best!

Excellent apartment with a stunning view, equipped with everything necessary for comfortable living. Very welcoming hosts. What was surprising is that despite the +35 degrees Celsius temperature outside, we hardly used the air conditioner because the apartment is well-ventilated when the windows are open, making it comfortable to stay inside.

The balcony is huge with a nice table and chairs and a gorgeous sea view. The pool area and garden are perfect! Our hosts were helpful, accommodating, and very generous. Preko is a quiet escape from busy Zadar with plenty of good restaurants to choose from, 2 grocery stores and bike rental nearby. We walked everywhere.

There are not many restaurant in Kali itself, and we had to drive to Preko for the supermarket, pharmacy, and more variety of restaurants. However, it was so empty and quiet in Kali itself that we did not care to go for a drive everyday. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean. We had two air conditioners, a big fridge, a dishwasher, oven, microwave, and so on. There is also a big parking place in front of the door, a bistro for drinks and lunch, and we spend most our days at the beach in front of the apartment. The hosts were lovely and informed us about things we could do here. They also organised a boat trip, which was our highlight.
