Very accessible from Reykjavik, and it was great having a few excursions avaliable right from the hotel. The location is perfect to explore west Iceland. The staff were lovely and the added bonus of the northern lights wake up calls were great for the jet lag - you can rest easy knowing they’ll let you know if the aurora is around!

Fosshotel Reykholt is only a few minutes’ drive from the hot springs of Deildartunguhver and the Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls. It offers free parking and WiFi.

All rooms at Reykholt Fosshotel have a desk and a private bathroom. Some include a seating area. Oh everything, from the reception to the spa and the restaurant service. They treated us really well :) the beds where super comfy, and the hotel is located in a quiet area. Really good!
