The staff was very nice. At our arrival, the receptionist responded kindly to our demand and found a bigger room for us, farther from the street, at only very moderate surcharge. In the breakfast room, Angela was extremely nice, fulfilled every our wish, for instance, on our request she changed immediately the omnipresent "lounge music" (that we found quite dull) to music corresponding to our wish. The windows of our room were completely sound-proof so that no noise from the street could be heard. The breakfast was very rich. The reception was very helpful with advice about possibilities to make trips, booking a taxi etc.

Facilities were beautiful, absolutely stunning grounds. Rooms were great, huge size and had everything you could need. Free bikes to use at any time, which was amazing to see the area, just such a fantastic hotel, could not recommend more.

Each room offers stylish furniture, and a plasma-screen TV with national channels. Walls and windows are completely soundproofed. Rebuilt and new since the earthquake, we were there just as it reopened. The owner/GM (?) was very present. The parking was extra but easy and we got a nice cool car in the sweltering heat! The location is steps away from the new promenade which was opened the day we got there. L'Aquila has rebuilt this area nicely.
