It's very peaceful and beautiful. Good for birdwatching. It's also right near the tram into the center of the city right up to the castle stop (Y180 flat rate) which is really convenient and cheap. The hotel itself is really well appointed and has 2 private and 1 public onsen which was really nice.

Its location next to Shinotori Shopping Arcade means there’re lots of food and evening shopping options. The laundromachines were also convenient to use.
