The attention to detail at this resort was impeccable, as was the quality of service. It is perfectly situated, being far enough away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance of the Torii gate, the "downtown" area, and the ropeway station for the ride up the mountain. Adjacent to the facility is a picturesque stream with the quintessential red colored pedestrian bridge. Be sure to sign up for the delicious breakfast and dinner; the same meal enjoyed by the heads of state at the recent G7 Summit held here. I will definitely be returning with my spouse to bask in the peace and tranquility of Miyajima.

Guests have access to a hot tub and open-air bath. The house was huge and had beautiful decor. Each area of the house had controlled heating and ac. Fully stocked free bar with nice treats. The hot was fantastic. Great, convenient quiet location.

This ryokan features free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. The ryokan has a sauna and a lift. First off the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and met all our needs. The diner and breakfast were excellent and the hostess exceptional. The wife and I appreciated the little extras offered!

Free on-site private parking area is available for guests. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. It’s very clean and cozy. The view from our balcony is stunning. The private bath is awesome too! Staff are so nice and helpful!

Hotel Miyu Rikyu is perfectly situated along the waterfront just a few steps from Miyajima Ferry. We had a sea view room and could see the Otori Gate from our window. The setting and room were very. beautiful, Sleeping on the traditional futons on tatami mats was comfortable, and the set 12 course menu was delicious (though could be challenging for picky eaters). Breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful. Note that we were the only foreigners during our stay and the staff does speak English but it is a much more traditional Ryokan. On site onsen (public bath) was very nice with a small view out to the sea from the top floor.
