There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The accommodation provides a lift and room service for guests. One should give a „11“! Located about 25 Minutes by foot in the hills across the shrines overlooking inari River, absolutely quiet. A Shuttle picks up and drops off (do Not Let the rather harsh Tone of the Emails concerning early checkin (extra cost) Irritate you - that is probably die to the poor English); if you Are staying for more than one Night, they ask you Several times when and how they could Transport you to town etc. Recommend at least two Nights so you can enjoy the Room, the food, the Drinks, the music, the atmosphere. Rooms very spacious; the huge Window is fantastic (and Not cold surprisingly, so Sitting in Front sipping Tea or freshly brewed coffee is a treat Even when cold outside). Free bathtub plus shower (separate). Very stylish and comfortable. Huge bed, rather soft (by japanese standards). The decoration addresses European style luxury travellers, but obviously the japanese guests appreciate it, too. Two floors of rooms. The Lobby downstairs is also the dining Room. Free sparkling wine (very good!) and drinks from 5-6. during dinner, they Play music/videos to the guests‘ wishes. A absolute marvel is the food- do Not know where they found this Cook. Mixture of japanese and french Cuisine at its best. Very Tasty, very elegant Concept of five or six courses; breakfast on a tray with all you could ask for. The Bread (Three different kinds to three courses at Dinner, two different kinds for breakfast and no repetition) is superb and of the finest Kind! Strongly recommend to opt for the breakfast and dinner included plan! (Especially since all other options are in town). The interior speaks of the owner - a marketing Specialist who has a Vision. Very remarkable is the - abundant- staff. Extremely Super Polite (Even by japanese standards)and attentive (e.g. dried and cleaned our Shoes as a Service after we had taken a hike into the Woods during rain), very sweet and engaged. English is little present but the kindness makes up for that completely.

Excellent location right at Utsunomiya Station next to a convenience store. Rooms were very spacious, clean, and newly renovated, and the A/C worked very well. Check-in was easy, and they arranged for our group's rooms to be right next to each other. Nice public bath facilities. Overall a great value for what we paid.
Location and flair. We had a twin room in the newly renovated annex. We had the set dinner in the main restaurant. The hotel is beautiful, with colorful wood carvings, little Japanese gardens, surprising courtyards. Fantastic cooking. Try the Japanese breakfast.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very modern and clean. Excellent location.
Great location, right next to the snow lantern festival. Modern lobby and lounge. Free tea coffee and juices at anytime and self serve wine - great choices at reasonable cost. Free ramen for guests from 9-10.30 pm was a nice touch and the onsen was a unique experience - from images I thought it was outside but it’s enclosed by glass. Wish they sold the pyjamas they provide in the room as very comfortable. Staff very friendly, google translate came in handy
Excellent location to main world heritage sites for history enthusiasts like myself. I was surprised by the level of English fluency in Nikko, and especially at Nikko Station Hotel II. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was nice and stylish. They had lockers with good sizes I could use, so I didn't have to worry about carrying heavy luggage on my final day.
Guest house was in a great location, really close to the train station and a family mart. The host was really friendly and helped us plan a hike with bus times and a guide he prepared himself. The toilets were modern and clean.
Wonderful location with beautiful magical setting. Very good value and quality food and special presentation. The hotel staff were very attentive and kind, nothing was too much trouble making it a great overall experience. Loved the very Authentic hot spring and cozy open fire :)
Location is good. The room seems newly renovated, though the building looks laid back. The staff is efficient and they have lockers for guest to store luggage b4 check-in. The coins for the lock was refunded when u retrieve the luggage. So it is free storage. Breakfast spread is ok.
I loved the modern mix of café, art space, shop, event location and hostel in a calm area, that has a lot to offer. It’s a place where people come together. It’s also some train stations away from Nikko, if you feel like sightseeing.
