The hotel is beautiful inside and out with spacious, modern rooms, a huge comfortable bed and great A/C. The views on to the beach and Hiriketiya bay are some of the best we saw in Sri Lanka. The staff were so attentive and being hotel guests they reserve the best dinners at the beach club part. The breakfast was amazing and we also had lunch there which was delicious and reasonably priced.

Best location in Midigama, with amazing beaches scarce of people right in front of it. Tentative and pleasant staff that did their outmost to make our stay the best it could be. All rooms have sea view and were clean and spacious. Food was great.

We had the most incredible time at Shades, what a treat it was! It’s tucked away in a quiet spot amongst all the incredible nature. I’ve seen so much wild life during my stay there is no need to go for a safari tour. Waking up in the morning to the sounds of the jungle, starting my day with a swim in a beautiful huge pool and a delicious breakfast by the amazing team. Hospitality is outstanding, your every need is anticipated! Food was incredible, great variety and very balanced flavours. Room was so comfortable, I had the best sleep and a phenomenal view. Location was also great, all the beaches are so easily accessible and I enjoyed being away from all the hassle and busyness of the town, returning to this peaceful sanctuary after exploring around. Can’t wait to be back, thank you team!

We are struggling to find the words to write this review. It is an incredible place to stay on the beautiful south of Sri Lanka. The pictures don’t do it justice. If you’re looking for a calmer place to stay away from the noisy crowds of tourists, The Nook Resort won’t disappoint. We loved how genuine and personable the staff were. They were so welcoming. The Nook is beautifully created, every small detail is well designed, you can feel how much passion the owners put into it, its so clean and comfortable. The restaurant has amazing food all day. Thank you to the owner of The Nook for being so lovely and guiding us to hidden gems and recommending beautiful places. Thank you to all staff for being so friendly and helpful with great service. We would recommend this place to anyone. Stunning!

Set 2.8 km from Weherahena Buddhist Temple, Vanina Villas provides rooms with air conditioning in Matara. The location is just perfect, in front of a beach paradise surrounded by coconut trees, close to the Matara center but at the same time in a peaceful area, perfect to rest after a day of adventures. The gardens and the pool are so amazing, the villa was super comfortable and well decorated, just like the whole hotel. We had incredible meals in front of the beach. Sri Lanka is so amazing, people always with a smile and willing to help. Is a safe country to visit, with an incredible culture and really nice food. Thank you so much to Myriam and Jean for receiving us so well and for all the incredible tips and organized activities about Sri Lanka. We spent wonderful moments in this hotel and we will miss everything so much.

Everything was great, The staff is very kind and responsive. They have assised us with every our request, so there was nothing bad to mention.
