Everything was SO well priced (especially the Swedish massages, which were also incredible!) Most of the staff spoke English, or otherwise were very patient with our use of a translation app. Owner was also super nice and gracious.

This charming hotel is perfectly located near the Ajijic plaza, close to everything in town. The rooms are beautifully designed, with spacious, comfortable beds. What truly stands out, though, is the incredible staff. They’re friendly, helpful, and wonderfully accommodating. During our stay, we were in another town when our son, who had stayed behind at the hotel, woke up feeling hungry. Although the hotel doesn’t offer room service, the staff went above and beyond by leaving the hotel to get him food, ensuring we didn’t need to rush back—such thoughtful service!

Real de Chapala features a game room with pool tables, and guests can also visit Ajijic City Centre, just a 5-minutes walk away. Chula Vista Country Club is 2.5 km away, and Guadalajara is a 50-minute drive from the property. I wish the menu for dinner was more expansive especially if people are staying for a week or more
