Ideally situated for exploring Abel Tasman National Park, Mohua Motels is 300 metres from Takaka's Town Centre. It is located opposite a supermarket and next door the Golden Bay Visitor Centre. Exceptionally well run motel. The lovely owner/operators just couldn’t do enough for us! The room was spacious and comfortable, and very well appointed. One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed.

Ideally located for exploring Abel Tasman National Park, Pohara Beach Holiday Park is 10 minutes' drive from Takaka and Golden Bay. It is 30 minutes' drive from Collingwood. Location right on the beach/bay! Staff helped me out of a tough situation. Very grateful for them 💙

Local shops, cafes and restaurants are all within a 5-minute walk. The staff was polite. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Set within Abel Tasman National Park and accessible only by water taxi or helicopter, Awaroa Lodge offers modern accommodation surrounded by native gardens and beach. There is a restaurant, café and a bar on site. Guests can explore the coastal walking tracks or go kayaking and fishing nearby. Everything was well organised and easy.

The Station House is ideally situated just a few minutes’ walk from the Beach, Courthouse Café, Collingwood Tavern and Museums, and around the corner to iconic Mussel Inn and Langford Store. Collingwood is a quiet location and the perfect place to stay to explore all of Golden Bays Natural Attractions. It’s a short drive to Farewell Spit, Cape Farewell, Wharariki Beach, Te Waikoropupū Springs, and the hosts can assist with arranging tours to Farewell Spit, which depart opposite the Motel. The hosts recommend a minimum three night stay as there is so much to see and do. Hosts are so lovely and very open to telling you about the area. Lovely view, cosy and peaceful home, exceptional facilities.

Twin Waters Lodge in Collingwood provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The bed and breakfast also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Where do I start?! This place is AMAZING. It’s beautiful, comfortable, and Mike and Trish are the definition of Kiwi hospitality!!
