Situated in Marahau and only 400 metres from Marahau Beach, Ocean View Chalets features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. With garden views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Beautifully located chalets with stunning views on the terrace, living room and bedroom that exceeded my expections. Friendly reception and the cabin (and even the dishes) is services daily. The pictures of inside chalets give them a somewhat dated look but in reality they are much better and very well maintained and clean.

Positioned on the main street, the Queen Street Studios is a 4-minute walk to Richmond Mall where guests can find a variety of shops and restaurants. The Abel Tasman National Park and the town of Motueka are within a 50-minute drive from the property. Room is clean and tidy. Reception staff is very friendly.

Ideally situated for exploring Abel Tasman National Park, Mohua Motels is 300 metres from Takaka's Town Centre. It is located opposite a supermarket and next door the Golden Bay Visitor Centre. The owners were really interested in their guests, friendly and approachable for any discussion or questions. The location and facilities met our expectations, such that everything was provided to allow us to self cater. Centrally located with the shops and supermarket all within an easy walk. I would recommend people visiting the Takaka area to stay at this motel.

All units come with a seating area, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, shower, hot tub and bath. A fridge and kettle are also available. We loved our stay at Ratatnui Lodge - the staff was so accommodating to anything and everything we needed. The rooms were very comfortable; outdoor jacuzzi (needed to be cleaned but still nice) and pool area were a great bonus. Included breakfast was amazing and I had the delicious blueberry pancakes both days. Dinner and Bar/Drinks were also exceptional. Location is great for exploring the north and west side of Abel Tasman. We planned to take a water taxi to the east side but the road was closed to due slips (not a problem we did that on our way out from the east side of the park). Room included basics such as tea and coffee - robes included for relaxing. Truly this was one of our favorite places we stayed. Staff helped us coordinate our activities and when we had to cancel one due to the road being out they made sure we got our refund. Amazing stay!!!
