Stopforths Motel features spacious and luxurious accommodation just 450 metres from the centre of Hokitka. Opening in 2018, guests can admire the Southern Alps views or the stars on an astronomy tour.... Very nice accommodations. Big room with kitchen and modern bathroom. Bed was comfortable and AC was an option.

Offering views of the mountain, Karamea River Motels is located in Karamea in the West Coast Region. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a seating and dining area. Everything. The room was huge, with a firm, comfortable bed and French doors opening onto a private sitting area outside. The kitchenette was tiny but everything we needed for basics was there. Teas and good coffee provided. A great shower. Excellent laundry facilities with a clothesline available. Comfortable and spacious and welcoming.

Beautiful heritage building . Well set up for guests. Loved the Vault room with original vault door. Kitchen and breakfast were just right. Great central location in a cute country town. Angela was an amazing host, exceeding expectations and always going the extra mile. She stayed late to make sure our check-in process was seamless and assisted with reservations for the Heli Ride and Quad Biking, as well as providing helpful dining recommendations.

Nothing was too much trouble. Ian even dried out our wet shoes for us. The house was exceptionally clean, and breakfast was great.
