Al has amazing stories about wine and offers a great wine tasting experience, while Ana prepares delicious meals and is super helpful with tips on what to see in the area. The design of the place is stunning, the mattresses and bedding are top-notch, and everything feels truly first-class. It’s a unique spot, definitely worth visiting. We highly recommend it! The breakfast had so much variety, it was a great spread and not a continental breakfast. They had fruits, granola, muselli, and so many other choices. The shower is excellent!, Rooms are clean! Rooms facing pool or ocean are must, the other side has a construction building next door. It was walkable to beaches and the restaurant row. The signature spa treatment was enjoyable!

All rooms are fully renovated, modern and contemporary. All rooms have free wifi, TV, safe and working desk and walk in shower.

Breakfast is served at AP Sines Costa Alentejana Hotel brand new restaurant Latitude 37. Lunch and dinner service are also available on a daily basis. A newly renovated bar is now available. Very helpful stuff. Awesome view from our room included sunrise from our bed 😉. We had a safe and dry place for our bikes. Very good breakfast. The Spa is lovely

The area is popular for hiking, and bike hire is available at this 4-star hotel. Our stay at Independente Comporta felt like discovering a music artist before they get famous. What I mean by this is - book this place before it becomes impossible. It is a gem. This luxurious retreat is located roughly midway between Comporta-proper and Grandola, a larger village in the region. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles from friendly staff, who checked us in speedily, assisted us with our bags, and ensured we were happy literally every minute spent on-site. Joao, Pedro and the younger woman from the region who worked reception were like old friends who gave us recommendations on things to do, took us on a golf-cart ride to explore the grounds, and hooked us up with Super 73 e-bikes to ride through some trails and look at the other villas. The resort is gorgeous with olive trees, native landscaping and serene pools. Visiting in November was nice, as we practically had the place to ourselves which made for a well-needed tranquil retreat mid-honeymoon. There is a spa on-site, which had a lovely couples massage, an event space for lounging, yoga on Wed, Sat and Sun, and a fantastic restaurant. The restaurant deserves its own section, as the food is delightful interpretations of classic Alentejan cuisine. Dinner was one of the best meals of our trip. Breakfast is equally fantastic with both a buffet and included elevated ala carte options. Fresh squeezed juices, creamy cheeses, freshly baked breads, what more do you need to hear. Book this place!!! The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a concierge service and free WiFi. it was so "fresh" to stay in such comfortable place, sort of "barefoot" if that was your wish, yummy breakfast, attentive stuff, variety of books / coffe table books, nothing seam to be too much for them, thank to the "Team AlmaLusa", from a very proud pretending Lusitana.

It really is a paradise for young families. Its beautiful, quiet and safe- our kids who are 9 and 6 enjoyed all the wonderful kids activities during our stay from cookie baking to traditional games and feeding the animals, as well as being able to cycle everywhere in the resort safely. The landscape is stunning, with our room looking out on vegetable farm. The restaurant is wonderful- breakfast is amazing, with lots of local organic produce, eggs fresh from the chickens etc. The rooms are beautifully designed with all little things thought of- a welcome basket of the farms local produce and homebaked bread, beautiful costa nova tableware, coffee from a lovely brand helping underpriviliged/disabled children, super comfortable beds. The staff are super kind and helpful- with special mention to Ana Rita who was truly exceptional. She called us the night before our trip to answer all our many questions, and checked us in on the day. She really took the time to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after and we so much appreciate it! With it being only an hours drive away from home we are already planning our next stay!

The property is a 5-minute walk from the beach. Beautifully situated, well appointed, exceptionally quiet. Staff was knowledgeable, helped us to the room with luggage and golf cart. Grounds are beautifully maintained. The beach is spectacular. The buildings are well made, walls soundproof, kitchen and was convenient and gorgeous.
