The rooms were traditionally decorated and sparkling clean with an amazing view. The hotel was managed by a family which made us feel as welcome as possible. Breakfast was delicious! I will recommend to anyone I know and will definitely be staying again if I ever find myself in Gjirokastra :)

We fell in love with the property as soon as we walked in! It is located uphill near Gjirokaster old town center and offers AMAZING views of the city, mountains, and castle. We got the room with a large private terrace and it was worth a little extra cost! The owner was very friendly, responsive, and helpful, and breakfast on the rooftop terrace was one of the best we’ve had in Albania! We wish our stay was longer than one night, just because this guest house is such a magical place, try to stay at least 2 nights.

Before describing the property itself, I must mention the hotel manager—interestingly named Maradona. He was incredibly friendly and genuinely cared about our stay. After we made the reservation, he contacted us right away to share useful information about how to reach the hotel. He also gave us great tips about the city, which really added value to our trip. Although the hotel is within walking distance to the city center, Maradona kindly drove us there himself and picked us up at the time we requested. Since some members of my family are older and could have gotten tired walking, this gesture was deeply appreciated. The rooms were very well-maintained with a nostalgic charm, and the breakfast was satisfying. Overall, it was a warm and memorable experience thanks to both the hospitality and the comfort.

Its a family-run hotel and the hosts are simply wonderful—warm, kind, and genuinely caring. They go above and beyond to help their guests with everything, and you can really feel that it comes from the heart. The rooms are spotless, smell amazing, and the bathrooms are well-equipped and thoughtfully designed.
