All the beautiful wood and features. Taking your shoes off at entree, sliding doors, gymnasium, kitchen. Amazing. Even more amazing was the staff. The explained every thing well, gave recommendations for food and travel. I even got lucky and hitched a ride back to Nakatsugawa, with a perfect pitstop at Hillbilly Coffee (highly recommend). I stayed here after walking Nakasendo Trail from Tsumago. Perfect place to stay after. Do not hesitate. Go here. Book!

Room was very spacious, especially for Japan. Staff were very professional and helpful - booking reservations for us (recommended with the better restaurants in the area). Location - walking distance to most sites. Very short walk to the market. A bit of a walk from the train station but certainly doable for most people. Bed was large and comfortable, and room was quiet. Bonus - laundry facilities, and a first for me, you could monitor the 4 washing machines on the floor below with your TV! Love Japan!

It was incredibly convenient, with a variety of dining options nearby, ranging from local restaurants to casual eateries, as well as a convenience store just a short walk away. This made it easy to explore and enjoy local food without any hassle. Overall, my stay at Soki Kanazawa Hotel was an absolute pleasure. The combination of cozy, well-designed rooms, great location, and the charming atmosphere made it the perfect base for exploring Kanazawa. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a blend of tradition and convenience!

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The room was clean, modern, well equipped, comfortable and spacious by Japanese standards. Lovely breakfast with lots to choose from. Very close to the station which was why we chose it as a stop off location. A pity we didn't have time to use the spa.
