All the beautiful wood and features. Taking your shoes off at entree, sliding doors, gymnasium, kitchen. Amazing. Even more amazing was the staff. The explained every thing well, gave recommendations for food and travel. I even got lucky and hitched a ride back to Nakatsugawa, with a perfect pitstop at Hillbilly Coffee (highly recommend). I stayed here after walking Nakasendo Trail from Tsumago. Perfect place to stay after. Do not hesitate. Go here. Book!

At first I was slightly uneased by the price of the night for 3 people, but after experiencing the onsen, the amazing dinner, and exceptional breakfast combined with top notch staff, I must say, the price is very well worth it. Food was superb, and the quality of the onsen was unbelievable - rivaling that of Beppu onsens known through Japan. Not to mention the exceptional accessibility options should the guest be differently abled - 2 very wide elevators, appropriately sloped ground, no bumps going through the rooms.

L’établissement HOTEL WOOD TAKAYAMA est idéalement situé dans le centre de Takayama. The location was perfect, in the middle of the old town. The breakfast was very nice, the rooms were very comfortable. Overall a very good stay. I would like to come back.

The room was a great size, well equiped, comfy beds and very clean. The staff were helpful and we enjoyed the complimentary sake.

Excellent location, just three minutes from the train station. Plenty of food options available near the hotel. Staff were friendly. Room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. I loved the cafe in the hotel lobby, where I spent several evenings relaxing while reading a book.

L'hôtel est magnifique avec une superbe vue. Super facile d'accès avec une sortie de métro qui mène directement à la porte de l'hôtel. Le personnel est très aimable et aux petits soins. La chambre était spacieuses (lit familial avec 3 grands lits). Le buffet petit déjeuner très varié et excellent. L'hôtel offre des billets avec réductions pour Legoland. Rien à redire il coche toutes les cases 10/10
