This is one of the best places I’ve ever been. The location is beautiful, the hotel is well maintained, the staff is the best and the food is delicious.

Set in Koh Rong Island, Preah Sihanouk Province region, Tamu Koh Rong is situated 6 km from Sok San Port. We can only warmly recommend the hotel from start to finish. It starts with the nice staff, whether front office manager, housekeeping or the waiters in the restaurant, everyone is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty. The additional dishes besides the selection at the buffet were also very good and fresh. We loved the idea of using the tents as rooms. Of course, you should be prepared to encounter a gecko, frog or snail in the bathroom, after all, you are also booking a nature experience here! The cocktails are also very good, happy hour from 4-6 can only be recommended. The white beach was always clean and well maintained, as was the entire resort! If I were to come to Koh Rong again, I would check in here again!

One of the nicest places I’ve stayed ever. The team truly know how to make you feel welcomed and cared for, the personal touches were noticed and appreciated! The accommodation is great, the yoga was fantastic, the food and drinks were delicious and fresh, and the the whole place is very eco-conscious. ❤️ I also appreciated being able to use the snorkeling gear for free and the vegetarian/vegan alternatives. The best thing of all was the sense of community and the team’s passion for excellent hospitality that will inevitably sweep you off your feet. Look no further.

Tents open up to views of the sea and are equipped with a mattress, pillows, a fan and a blanket. There is also a charging station for the guests' electrical appliances. Loved the whole place, beach is great and it's a quiet area. We stayed in the quiet season for 2nights and had the whole place to ourselves the first night! The food is decent at the restaurant. Staff are very friendly and helpful, they booked our taxi to go get the boat on our check out day too. We walked along the road to a local traditional village and it was really interesting. At night you can swim in bioluminescent plankton, highlight of our entire trip, it was magical.

Just a 3 min walk from the beachfront and you get the best views and sunsets (also the best margaritas in town!). Scott is such a wonderful host. Can’t recommend this place enough.

It felt very remote and peaceful on this side of the island and I also preferred this beach. I also really liked the food menu here and the fresh bread was amazing. The managers Chris and Tee were also great.

The brownies!!! Koh Ta Kiev was definitely my favorite place so far (after traveling for 3 months), and Kactus is the place to stay! The staff were all super nice and interesting, the place was very nice and comfortable, with the best chill-out area :) A very social hostel, filled with interesting people that are mostly also looking to disconnect a bit from the phone So many walking trails through the jungle, many activities to book (though you can do most of them by yourself), and a lovely arts and crafts center Loved sleeping within the forest/sea sounds, and sleeping in the tent was also quite comfortable The facilities were always kept as clean as possible (considering it is in an isolated island)
