Camping along the river was very appealing. The very strong rains made using the river impossible and it was quite damp for tenting, but that was not the fault of the proprietors. They arranged safari vehicles and guides and gave us very good advice about the length of the safari that would be best for our group.

Food was good, service was great. Did the safari with them and would totally recommend, super nice, we got to see many animals and the driver was really nice.

Athgira River Camping offers a great outdoor dining experience as well as a barbecue dinner and cooking demonstrations. Real wild cocktails and a nice wine selection are available as well. The staff took care of us like a 5 star hotel would do. They organized a safari on the day and transport the next day for us. I was impressed by the quality of their services.

Very easy going and friendly. Very passionate about all the animals and nature :) The accommodation was very cool, close to town so great for a little exploration.
