The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Everything was fantastic! The location is stunning, our cottage was beautiful decorated and spacious. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They even made a birthdaycake for my sons birthday. We wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended

We were told repeatedly not to bother with Aberdeen as there is nothing there. However, we had a lovely stoppover with nice friendly hosts. They are working on adding a new coffee shop, so I can only guess the place will be even better.

Game viewing in this setting is something special. Our ranger and the general staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and caring. The Hillside Manor is luxurious comfort. This was an incredible stay — everything from the view to the tent to the staff to the food was impeccable in every way. The only downside is that we feel like we’ve been spoiled and the rest of our trip simply can’t compare. It was a totally wonderful package of stay (comfortable warm beds, clean rooms), excellent food (we went as a family of 4 and 3 were vegetarians, all efforts were put in to providing them with specially curated vegetarian meals), game drives!! Amazing drive experience with very knowledgeable ranger!! He put in so much effort to show us maximum wild life. The morning coffee with giraffes is something we will remember for lifetime. The luxury tents have a deck with private plunge pool and views of the surrounding bush. They come with thatched roofs and wooden floors, as well as a fireplace and minibar. We had three fantastic days at Amakhala Game Reserve, Bush Lodge. The tents were very comfortable and the food very good. The game drives were amazing. Our game driver Jono did a super job. very enthusiastic, very knowledgeable information given during the drives and he was fantastic at spotting the animals and very dedicated to making sure we saw as much and varied as possible.
