The location is stunning, our cottage was beautiful decorated and spacious. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They even made a birthdaycake for my sons birthday. We wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended

We were told repeatedly not to bother with Aberdeen as there is nothing there. However, we had a lovely stoppover with nice friendly hosts. They are working on adding a new coffee shop, so I can only guess the place will be even better.

This Luxury Tent Room has a private entrance with an open plan room with a Double Bed and bathroom with shower. The Luxury Tent Room shares balcony with beautiful views. We loved everything! The hosts are wonderful kind people & super accommodating! Views from the room were amazing, we saw some animals too!

This game reserve stands out for us because of the beautiful landscape of rolling hills and dramatic mountain ranges. Game viewing in this setting is something special. Our ranger and the general staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and caring. The Hillside Manor is luxurious comfort. Definitely one of our best family experiences. Offering free toiletries and bathrobes, this tent includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. This was an incredible stay — everything from the view to the tent to the staff to the food was impeccable in every way. The only downside is that we feel like we’ve been spoiled and the rest of our trip simply can’t compare. Special shout out to Norma for her amazing safari drive and Lars for the bush walk — but really the entire staff deserves high marks!

We had the most amazing two days here for part of our Honeymoon. The staff were incredible, so friendly and accommodating. Mr. President's game drives meant we saw almost everything we could in 2 days. We 100% recommend and hope to return ourselves!

Situated in the Amakala Big Five Game Reserve, Bush Lodge offers an intimate lodge experience. It features an outdoor swimming pool, viewing deck and a number of game drives and bush walks. Thanks to the whole team! James, thank you for these unforgettable morning and afternoon rides. You immediately felt that he was a very experienced and funny ranger! Keep it up! We were able to see four of the big five. The lodge is very luxurious. Please remember that you live in the "bush" and you can sometimes encounter insects and other creatures while showering under the open sky. :-) But that's exactly what makes it so special!
