I booked this hotel as at the time it was cheaper than the two budget hotels. The room was lovely overlooking the lake. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was included which it isn't in the budgets. Will definitely try to book The Copthorne rather than budgets in the future.

Staff were amazing and went above and beyond and so friendly too. Room was clean and bed was so big and comfy too.

The Vale Resort is set in 650 acres of beautiful Welsh countryside, just a 15 minute drive from Cardiff. The Resort features the largest spa in Wales, 2 championship golf courses and 2 restaurants.

Lovely resort and setting. Getting from the resort to Cardiff was difficult with taxis that was not available. Perhaps you can think about shuttle services for guests without cars

Llechwen Hall is a truly beautiful country estate — full of character, charm, and tranquility. The setting is absolutely idyllic, surrounded by peaceful nature and offering stunning views. The restaurant is excellent, with high-quality dishes and warm, attentive service. It made our stay even more special. The surrounding area offers plenty of lovely day trips and walks — perfect for anyone looking to relax and explore the Welsh countryside.

This historic country inn has delicious food and luxury rooms. It is within a few km of the famous Celtic Manor Resort, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup. The Old Barn Inn dates back to the early 1750s.

We were made very welcome as soon as we arrived. Sian who seemed to be everywhere, really had a great way about her, she is an asset to The Old Barn. Breakfast was a treat, tasty and filling.

Located on the edge of Newport and just over a mile from the M4 motorway, the New Inn offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi. Its restaurant serves a varied, hearty menu and free parking is available.
