Dessau is known for many things but our visit was focused on the Bauhaus so this was ideal. Plus, we had a view of the main Bauhaus building from the apartment. The apartment itself was very comfortable, modern and stylish. The bed and pillows were lovely and the other furnishings to a high standard. Bathroom is spacious and small kitchen area perfect for short stays. The couple who own the building were delightful and helpful. The apartment also has lots of light. It is also close to the rail station, and many places of interest are in walking distance or a short bike ride or tram ride away. Highly recommend the Bauhaus Café for breakfast and lunch. Just 3 minute walk away. In the centre of town, 20 minute walk away, is an excellent Asian restaurant, Kaori. We had a superb dinner. Some of the best pan Asian food we’ve had. I wish we had booked a third night as there are several interesting places to visit in this area aside from the Bauhaus.

Would be a wonderful place to stay with a family, as you get the entire little home to yourself with the two beds in the attic. I loved the little seating outside the front door.
