The hosts are charming—we hope to return someday, as they have created a haven of peace and good taste. The region also has some very interesting towns, such as Aabenraa with its fascinating harbor. The optional breakfast was delicious and well worth the small extra charge. We had enough left over to pack picnic lunches. Birgitte is delightful host. She greeted us warmly and made sure our stay was perfect. She even allowed us to park our tandem bike in her garage and loaned us a garage door remote.

Odense is just 40 minutes by car.
