Very good for easy access to anywhere in the new Forest. It is about 5 mins walk from the centre of Lyndhurst which has numerous very good shops, pubs and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and very well equipped. The breakfast was perfect with a very good selection of cereals and cooked food. The coffee was excellent! The hosts are very nice and are keen to make your stay memorable. Pretty much the perfect B&B.

This charming 17th-century residence offers cosy rooms, as well as tea, coffee and cake on arrival. Cottage Lodge was very comfortable and had excellent facilities. The breakfasts were excellent and the selections of breakfast meals were all enjoyable. The hotel was perfect for us as we could walk to the bike rental near the train station to pick up our bikes. As we did two days of biking, it worked out well. Having a designated car parking spot was nice as we always had a spot to park. From the hotel you can walk to the restaurants and pubs, no need to drive.
