Clontarf, Dublin
Set in an 11th-century castle the Clontarf Hotel combines ancient architecture with 21st-century facilities. 10 minutes’ from Dublin city centre, this boutique hotel offers an award-winning restaurant and luxurious bedrooms. I like all the places in the castle.
Dun Laoghaire
Located in a seafront heritage area of Dún Laoghaire, overlooking unique panoramic views of the Dublin coastline, Haddington House is a five floor Victorian terraced building.
Founded in 1850s this hidden gem has the ambience of intimacy, a relaxed pace, and timeless spirit with the understated splendour of the turn-of-the-century. The House offers guests a unique, timeless and memorable experience, alongside contemporary desires to be soothed, well-fed, and refreshed.
It was an idyllic place to explore coastal Dublin. And staff recommended many local treasures from swimming at the Forty Foot and other swim spots to restaurants, pubs and shoos. The hotel bikes are great.
Dublin
Located in Dublin and only 500 metres from Killiney Beach, The Coach House provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The property is non-smoking and is set 7 km from Bray Heritage Centre. Clodagh and Seamus are the most fantastic hosts. Their property is magnificent, and yet they make you feel like home instantly. The Coach House is like an outhouse, so part of the property but with the appropriate independence and quietness. The house is very very big, with 3 big bedrooms and 2 big bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a very cosy livingroom and an extra small room with sofa and TV in case of calm needed. All necessary equipment is provided but shall you need anything, Clodagh would kindly assist you. There are booklets with all the things to see/do in the region, maps and even a very precise document that compiles all you need to know about the house. Honestly, the pictures and comments from other customers do not give justice to this amazing place. You should see it by yourself. I would just add that it was my son's birthday during our stay, and the whole family, including the kids, drew a birthday card and wrote a few words, and they left a bag of candies on the front door. This thoughtfulness warmed our hearts. Thank you so very much again. If we come back to Dublin, we definitely know where to stay.

The place is situated in a lovely neighborhood, a bit far from the centre of Dublin, but there are plenty of buses and trains you can catch to get there quickly. I suggest you to get a Visitor Leap Card in order to save time and money! The neighborhood is also extremely quiet at any time of the day and it felt very safe even late at night.
The host is very kind and patient, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and she also gave us many useful tips and recommendations.
Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
We shared the bathroom with a permanent guest but we've never actually met him and he kept everything spotless so it felt like we weren't actually sharing anything.
Highly recommended!

The guest house is less than a 10 minute' walk from Howth DART station, and a 2 km walk from Howth Castle and the National Transport Museum of Ireland that is situated in its grounds. Our last stop before the return to England and only 20 minutes or so from the Dublin ferry terminal so very handy for that. Lovely place to stay at with all the amenities you would expect from a hotel and country club, the room was excellent and the bar/restaurant served great food and drink. Although we didn't use them, the spa facilities were in use by other guests as was the golf course. Nothing bad to say at all!
Stylish hotel , located in the county not far from the airport. Set on a beautiful golf course, really lovely.
Good location for Dublin golf courses. Swords and Dunabate had great pubs. Not the place to stay if you want to tour City Center Dublin, but the perfect place to stay if you want to play the great Dublin golf courses and tour the Malahide castle. Easy access to the Dublin airport as well.
We got lucky with a sunny weekend so we were able to enjoy the beach and the golf course and they are stunning. Our room had a beautiful view and was super clean.
My husband and I loved the view from the room along with the overall comfort of the hotel mixed with the location. The staff were friendly yes, the parking was included and the beach walk was absolutely fantastic. Also, the hidden gem was the golf club bar on the grounds, a sung to remember.
Very conveniently located close to the airport, with plenty of parking. Room spacious with view of the golf course. Staff welcoming.
Convenient. Easy parking. Friendly staff. Golf course access is straightforward.
Loved the swimming pool Most of the staff were friendly Nice view onto the golf course
